TEC is a sub-committee of the Board and is comprised of representatives of industry, representatives from University Technology Transfer offices, NRC, IRAP, and other organizations that have a stake in commercialization of technologies derived from university research.
This committee identifies the relevance of Network research to commercial interests, helps develop market intelligence, facilitates linkages to industry partners and establishes technology transfer policies. At each meeting, the Committee reviews the status of research nearing consideration for transfer, and monitors the progress of active technology transfer projects.
